How we define ourselves is a product of our history not our potential. We have a sense that there is more to us than we can access yet accept that we are powerless to change. We want more engagement and control in our lives, yet our very beliefs keep us from transforming into our greater selves. Many false stats provide evidence that in spite of our best intentions our brain resists our desire to change. Our reluctant brain will concede morsels of self-awareness and even improve our emotional intelligence in our transactions with the world, but real transformation is in the domain of self-knowledge. The path to self-knowledge is more difficult at first, but the rewards of having greater access to our truer self are beyond abundance. It is the power of miracles and within everyone’s reach.
