One of the great challenges faced by the companies in the knowledge age is thatbusiness paradigm is based on outdated cultures and a brain that was designed to survive in them. Businesses solution have often been to adapt the culture to encourage behavior change or to instruct people in the company how to think and behave to create a great culture and business success. The problem is that culture and behavior are already too far ahead of brain development, which is an adaptation to what it is exposed to. We have to learn how to change our brains.


Fortunately the brain is plastic (i.e. changeable) and there is much unused capacity. We can reprogram it by training our attention and developing new habits about where to focus our attention. This will ultimately create habits that are able to benefit from the fact that our culture is miles ahead of our brain development and the gap is enlarging as a function of technology.
